It's Saturday.

It's Saturday morning and doing something productive doesn't seem to be on my list today, much to my husband's dismay--but he's out surfing so I don't feel so bad. And there is always the ever-so important update on my last weekend's birthday activities...
Since my birthday fell on a Sunday we decided to celebrate mostly on Saturday which began with me hacking up a lung in the morning because i was still sick. But then Robert whisked me away (doesn't that sound magical...)to Disneyland for breakfast! And we actually made it!! We have tried a few times to get out of the house early enough to make the 11am cut off...but this time we did it.
And if you're a pass holder and have never eaten at the Carnation Cafe, like us, well you need to because this Cinnamon Roll was gooey-delicious and the Mickey Mouse Waffle wasn't too bad either. We rode a few rides
And mostly got sad that this was our last non-blocked out Saturday for the rest of the summer! Wretched Deluxe status...but we will stay true Disney.
That evening we went out to meet with some friends at Ruby's where I at the most delicious club sandwich and fries, no salad, because it was my birthday, well kinda.

After we played a pretty intense game of Cranium back at our apartment...

The next day was my actual birthday and we went to church and after church we may or may not have gone to get my $69 in Disney money because they wouldn't give it to me one day early...

And that evening we had some of our newest besties over for a boys vs. girls trivial pursuit match...which for some reason I have no pictures of...oh well, you'll have to take my word for it that it was very good, considering I was able to say things such as "It's my birthday, roll the dice!"...magical.

happy birthday!!! you guys are so cute! I have to say that I am a wee bit jealous of your orange county life: namely the disneyland passes and beach access. I'm so excited we found each other's blogs!
